Shanks FX: Illusion of Space Flight

This is totally awesome. I love delving into old Special/Visual Effect techniques, and watching current filmmakers test them out and experiment with them. Sadly it is rather difficult to research special effects specifically, so I’m glad there are folks out there with more time than me to find out how they were done and who created them.
